“Do you have a medicine notebook?”
At Japanese pharmacies you'll be asked “お薬手帳はお持ちですか?”. Say “あ、持ってません” — the same answer as the konbini point card — and ask them to make you one.
The pharmacist says
Do you have a medicine notebook?
You say
I don't have one.
What it means
- = I don't have it
It means: I don't have one.
What is it?
It's a small notebook that records your medicines. Just ask, and they'll make you one.
What's「
That little "ah!" at the start? It's just like saying "oh!", and it makes you sound more natural. But it's optional. Without it, everyone will still understand you perfectly.
Say it slowly
